The Women Extraordinaire Awards recognize the top women business leaders in the Triangle. An honoree must be a woman of outstanding accomplishment, a leader, innovator, problem-solver and mentor to others.  Each year, winners are chosen from hundreds of nominations which are submitted to Business Leader on behalf of candidates.   Past Winners include prominent political figures, CEOs of businesses and service organizations, partners in professional service firms, deans of educational institutions, and small business owners.
