Women Extraordinaire

The Women Extraordinaire luncheon is held each December to honor 10 outstanding women for their achievements in business and philanthropy. The annual event features a keynote speaker, as well as various sponsors. Over 250 women business leaders were nominated in 2006 for the 10 awards.


Business Champions

Business Leader Media and Wake Technical Community College host Business Champions, an annual awards ceremony honoring 24 businesses in healthcare, business/technology, computers/engineering and applied technologies/trade industries that have contributed significantly to job growth in the region. The event features sponsors in various fields.
