Business Leader magazine is seeking a very special person to be publisher of our series of magazines in the Charlotte market of North Carolina.

The right person for this job will become a well-recognized personality in the city in which he or she is publisher. Whether representing Business Leader at networking events, introducing and speaking at conferences and community award events, or making strategic partnerships with civic and professional organizations, the role of publisher is where the business community attaches a face to the magazine.

Challenge:
You must understand the business of crafting relevant editorial content and how to direct advertising sales efforts to go beyond expectations. You must match the editorial content to the demands of advertisers and readers. You will accomplish this by having your pulse on the business environment in your region.

Requirement for Success:
Sales experience and a will to win. We also prefer someone who has some marketing, production and circulation experience. Public-speaking ability is a must.

We will consider candidates outside of publishing or advertising sales, but we cannot consider candidates without three years of demonstrated sales success.
